Three letters behind a nut
A mark of origin sells nothing. All it does is limit where something may come from.
Our hazelnut comes from Piedmont and carries the I.G.P. designation: a protected geographical indication, which means the origin is fixed and does not move each season to whatever is cheaper.
You taste it at the back. Roasted nut first, and behind it something leaning towards cocoa without any cocoa being there. That is what stays longest.
The flavour is simply called Hazelnut. All year at our atelier in Antwerp. Contains milk and nuts.
